Weaving Magic With Words

Welcome!

Writing about ourselves is not always easy, yet we need to do it – on our websites, business pages and to spread our message (and business) far and wide. That is where I come in! You give me your brief – be it article, blog post, bio, newsletter, native editorial – and I will give you back something with a little magic woven through.

What gives me the most joy is showing you, and others, how amazing you are. So don’t struggle – let me write it for you!

If you need help with editing and proofreading, I have ten years of professional experience plus a lifetime of voracious reading behind me. Words are my thing.

About

Hello, new friend!

My name is Hannah Schenker and first and foremost I am a woman who believes in the magic inherent in all of us. We’ve all got it, that inner spark. Something we believe in, something that lights fires within us. For me it’s writing – self expression of the written kind.

I am also passionate about pregnancy, birth and babies; parenting; health and wellness; eco conscious living; natural products; creativity; and mindfulness. In my day-to-day life I also enjoy dancing, eating yummy and nutritious food, exploring new lands, reading, and joyously loving my family.

We’ve all got it, that inner spark. Something we believe in, something that lights fires within us.

I am a freelance writer, editor and proofreader. I am also a mama to a dynamo toddler, and am blessed to live and love with a touch of magic in a beautiful place called Golden Bay, New Zealand.

“RIA is a high-vibing, genre-slaying, yoga-teaching DJ whose infectious energy flows through her lovingly selected sets to light up any venue. With more than 15 years’ experience tucked beneath her belt, including high calibre festivals such as Burning Man, Splore, Prana, Sundaise, EarthBeat, Byron Spirit Festival, Splendour in the Grass and Wanderlust, she is a pro in every sense of the word. RIA’s unique gift is to combine her own great loves into something coherent and deeply cool: bringing together elements of yoga, ecstatic dance, meditation and general good vibrations in her transformational YogaRhythms events. Journeying through world-fusion grooves and rhythms to mantras and melody, RIA embodies the new conscious movement toward connection to self.
